Actis has announced the launch of TERRANOVA, a new LATAM hyperscale data centre platform. TERRANOVA plans to invest US$1.5 billion over the next three years developing a portfolio of modern campuses in Brazil, Mexico and Chile with additional markets under evaluation.
The first site, located in the Querétaro area of Mexico, is scheduled to come online in Q1 2026 followed by new campuses in Campinas, Brazil (2027) and Chile (2027–2028).
The company, a new hyperscale data centre platform established by Actis, a leading growth market investor in sustainable infrastructure, has already secured land and power in strategic locations across the region representing the potential to deploy up to 1 gigawatt of data centre capacity in the future.

Mauricio Giusti, Managing Director, Digital Infrastructure, Actis said: “We see strong synergies between our existing data centre operations in Asia and TERRANOVA’s growth in Latin America. This collaboration allows us to deliver scalable, energy-efficient and sustainable solutions for global and regional clients.”
Leveraging Actis’s leadership in renewable energy, TERRANOVA will aim to integrate clean power and efficiency principles into every campus.
