Weekly Update! The 24 Data Centers of Christmas is in full swing, one festive facility a day, and the photos you’ve been sending in are outstanding. Keep them coming!
It’s also been another big week for industry announcements. Amazon revealed plans to develop a new data center on a former coal plant site in Oxford, a perfect example of how old energy landscapes are being transformed into digital infrastructure hubs. OpenAI and NextDC also dropped major news with their plans for a significant new data center in Sydney, further cementing Australia’s role in the global AI build-out. And in Latin America, we saw the launch of Terranova, a new hyperscale data center platform set to accelerate growth across the region.
